Cavitation Prevention Potential of Hydromechanical Pressure Compensation Independent Metering System with External Active Load

This article studies the cavitation performance and preventing method of hydromechanical pressure compensation independent metering system (HPCIMS). Compared with conventional load sensing (CLSS), meter-in meter-out orifices HPCIMS can be regulated independently. A quasi-static behavior analysis was applied to CLSS. The equation showed that keeping ratio greater than minimum value avoid phenomenon. Systems parameters were then kept as constant, key related two systems compared by varying external force. Comparison results show phenomenon in chamber CLSS active is inevitable, but HPCIMS, it prevent changing orifices, so has prevention potential.
